How does Sisterly Village give back?
Sisterly Village was founded in 2016 to provide professional attire to women’s organizations with the incentive of receiving a donation equivalent to seven percent of the purchase price, to support their philanthropic causes. We’re grateful to embark on this charitable journey by raising thousands for partners while inspiring millions to give back at the same time.
Who decides how the donation is used?
That’s up to you! We do not decide how the funds are donated. We leave that decision up to the organization since they have their own charitable initiatives. However, organization selection is a careful process that Sisterly Village takes seriously. We go through an extensive vetting process to determine what organizations we partner with in the United States and globally. Once a plan for responsible, impactful giving is approved, we work to understand where Sisterly Village’s support is most needed, how it will integrate into partner programs, and the impact Sisterly Village services will have on children and communities.
Can I order a single dress?
Yes! Take a look at our Lookbook, choose your dress, select your color and size, then head to checkout.
Are there any additional fees for group orders?
No. The only price you pay is for the dress, taxes (if applicable), and shipping. Some customization, such as emblems, may incur an additional cost.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
It depends. For individual orders, the lead time is between 2-3 weeks. With our current group order campaign model, the lead time is between 3-4 months. Sisterly Village utilizes both USPS and UPS for shipping. The standard rates apply.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently only accept credit cards through our secure online ordering system. We accept all major credit cards. We also accept chapter checks but no personal checks.
Can each member of my group pay for their order separately?
Yes! This is why ordering with Sisterly Village is so simple. We have recently started a group order campaign model. Sisterly Village will conduct quarterly campaigns for your organization targeting specific events for your organization. Each member may individually purchase by joining the group campaign. The embroidery and lead time will be communicated on the campaign page. Once all of your members have made their order, we will let you know when your order has shipped.
Do you give refunds?
No, we do not offer refunds; however, we do offer returns, exchanges, and gift cards to use as credit on future purchases. We offer returns on all apparel with crest only embroidery or without any embroidery within 14 days of receiving your order. We do not offer returns/exchanges on apparel with chapter name embroidery.
If the garment was defective upon receiving it or we made a mistake with the details of your order (i.e. we shipped the wrong size requested in your order), we will accept a return and exchange your garment at NO cost to you!
However, all other cases are returnable for an exchange, but incur the associated costs.
- Exchange for another dress size only: Cost of Shipping ($20)
- Exchange for Garment with Crest Only: Cost of Shipping & Restocking Fee: ($25)
It is highly recommended to use the provided size chart to avoid ordering the incorrect size.
